In the winter, they have limited hours, I recommend you call the morning of to see if they are open.
It was recommended to us by our relatives so we stopped in for breakfast, while on vacation. The food was excellent (very fresh) and the service was also great. Best regular coffee I have ever had. My wife and I will definitely make our way back there when we are in the area.
We'd give it more than 5 stars if we could. Worth a drive. Particularly the unique daily specials. Pulled pork burger with bacon was fabulous.
Wow! The food was GREAT! I especially recommend anything with homemade bread. We will be back!
My favorite place IN THE WORLD... You have to visit. Best home cooked meals ever.
Fantastic food and cool mountain vibe. I love their coffee. It's small so be prepared to wait if you're there at a busy time.
Great HOMEMADE food.
This place is so delicious!! It’s a great place to get lunch! The hand cut French fries are amazing!! Love this place and stop there every time we’re in town!
Great place for a Mountain Breakfast! Food is always fresh and prompt, staff and local diners are friendly.
Pronominal Food and Great Service i recommend for every body the milkshake fryz and cheeseburger
Great food. Can get busy, worth the wait. Make sure to get there with enough time before they close.
Awesome place! Food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. They do a great job of making the place feel like home.
We had breakfast at the cafe and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere rustic. We loved it.
I love this place for its mountain character. The food is good to but it is diner food so set your expectations appropriately.
The Elvis pancakes--thats bacon, banana, and peanut butter chips in pancakes--really hit the spot. Ate my fried egg over them. Tasty. Also serve a spiked coffee for breakfast. Tiny, 5 to 6 tables, one bathroom almost in the dining room, only a few parking spaces, mismatched coffee cups. Cozy ambiance. Don't go to Allens Park without stopping by.
Northern Colorado's hidden treasure. The food, coffee, atmosphere - everything is perfect. Makes you feel like you're being served by family.
Great tasting breakfast. Talking about homemade taste. Not much seating space but understandable due to the location......
Always good food!
Oh this little gem! Fun spot, teeny tiny and warm feeling inside. The lot was full at 7:30 when they opened and we all quickly filled this restaurant and awaited our amazing breakfast. I regret that I didn't take photos of the menu. The gentleman that took care of us was kind and attentive, he helped the entire room. Lots of little things to look at and a few things to purchase around. I will absolutely be back, every trip I take to the nearby Estes Park.
Love it. Usually open in summer and fall...
What a pleasant surprise in this tough little town! Fine, fine dining in tiny historic mine building.
Fantastic place to gather for breakfast or brunch. Coffee was out of this world (we finished an entire pot). Great place for fellowship with the laid back atmosphere.
Food is quite good and service is friendly. Nice stop for lunch or breakfast, get the french toast on their homemade bread, Yum!
Meadow mountain cafe is absolutely charming! I have been to Colorado twice and ate there both of the times I have visited. The staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious!
Delicious food wonderful experience, people were so friendly and nice!
We accidentally came across the Meadow Mountain Cafe today, and we are so glad we did! If you can’t tell, it’s a quirky, old-school joint that has some hearty food and encourages you to just *slow down*. The coffee is brewed with a dash of cinnamon, the omelette was better than I could make at home, and in sum, this is what small-town Americana is all about. Be nice, and you’ll be treated in kind.
Great as always. It's such a fun place where locals go and catch up. Food is great too! Thank you for the consistent and friendly service. 👍
A cute mountain cafe with the basics for brunch, including several omelet options. The comfort food is very welcome after a night or two of camping in the national forest. It's also close to Crystal Springs, where you can gather the natural spring water into your canteen. Altogether a lovely experience.
First time here. Will be back, so I can try even more of the good homemade food. Nice people. Simple. Relaxing. No rush. Good times. I’m almost don’t want to tell anyone else about it.
We live in Estes Park and go often to Meadow Mountain Cafe. The cobbler is delicious! The service is great. And the atmosphere is so fun! We love it there
Comfortable with good food.
Amazing cafe with great atmosphere. really enjoyed it here
Oh my goodness do I love this place! The food is clearly cooked with love and is amazingly fresh. It’s small and cozy. They have 4 tables and 4 spots up at the counter. If you come in and tables are taken, but not filled, you either make some new friends and share a table or you will be waiting a bit.... so do yourself a favor and make some new friends!!!!The biscuits, toast, and jam are homemade and super fresh! They have adorable salt and pepper shakers that are everywhere to add to the cozy rustic decor. Next time I get there I will be bringing a gift and adding to their collection. Please go here! You will not regret it!!
Always a great breakfast! 😎
Food was very good cafe fare and service attentive. The place is quaintly small, clean and cluttered, but not built for speed. Don't be put off by the outside's arty disarray, it is a nice place.
I never miss an opportunity to have breakfast here.
Always the best experience in the mountains!
Nice atmosphere and decent service, but the food is mediocre at best. Expected better for a $13 omelette. They serve Folger's coffee, and their syrup is 'pancake syrup' rather than real maple syrup. I'm guessing they can skimp on quality since there isn't much competition in the area.
I love this off the beat and path place. Mmmm and their pancakes are great.
Always great food and the best green chili soup!!
Went here once before when visiting some close friends. Very phenomenal food and great view and smell of mountain air. I will be returning this weekend to visit friends once again and was seeing if it is still open and WAHLAH it is!!!!
My favorite cafe in the Rockies!
Best breakfast EVER! Their homemade toast is to die for! Everything is absolutely delicious and made from scratch. This is truly a hidden, small town gem. Our favorite place to go.
Stopped in last Sunday for lunch. Sat out on the porch and found it to be very pleasant. The sign on the door says "This is not fast food" so they invite you to to relax and enjoy your stay. I agree, and will be back soon. Not sure why, but I enjoyed the front door. Old fashioned screen door with a long spring to hold it closed.
Good food. Fast service. Small seating area.
Breakfast is my favorite meal and Meadow Mountain Cafe became my new favorite! We live in Texas and can't wait to visit again. If you're in the area, this place is a must!
This is a true gem tucked in the Rocky Mountains. I love the amazing food and the humble nature of this place. Their omelettes are really good. My all time favorite is their breakfast burrito with green chili !
One of THE BEST cafes i have eaten at. Great food and wonderful people. And fantastic environment.
Fun hole in the wall place for breakfast or lunch
I grew up going here. Best home cooked meals ever. This small family owned place is always a treat to go to. If you haven't tried it yet. your missing out big time 😁🤣🦄
